Terms of Use

1. What the service is

MirrorUploadX is a transfer and link-management service. You upload a file once; we place it in a temporary staging area, scan it for malware, and — at your instruction — distribute it to one or more third-party hosting providers you select. We then present a single share page that links to the copies on those providers.

We are not a file host. The staging copy is deleted after distribution completes under our retention policy. The durable copies of your file live on the third-party providers you chose, under their terms and control, not ours.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter a contract.

You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it. Keep your password confidential and enable two-factor authentication. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You must provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Your content and your responsibility

You retain all rights in the files you upload. You grant us only the limited, temporary licence needed to stage, scan, and transmit your file to the providers you select, and to generate the share page.

You are solely responsible for the files you upload and distribute, and you represent that you have the necessary rights to do so and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy at all times.

4. Third-party providers

The hosting providers are independent third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, performance, pricing, retention, or terms. A provider may remove, throttle, or lose your file at any time.

Where you connect your own provider account or API key, your relationship with that provider is governed by that provider’s terms, and any revenue (for example, pay-per-download) is a matter between you and that provider.

We show provider status as accurately as we can, but we do not guarantee that any provider will accept, keep, or serve your file.

5. No permanent hosting; transient handling

We do not offer permanent storage. Our staging area is transient: once distribution to your selected providers finishes (or fails past retry), the staging copy is scheduled for deletion under our retention policy.

Do not rely on MirrorUploadX as a backup or as the sole copy of any file. Keep your own copies.

6. Acceptable use

Your use is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits illegal, harmful, infringing, and abusive content and conduct. Violations may lead to link takedown, account suspension, and termination.

7. API and automated access

If you use our API, you must keep your API keys confidential, respect rate limits, and not use the service to build a competing bulk-distribution product without permission. We may revoke keys that are abused.

8. Our intellectual property

The MirrorUploadX name, brand, software, and interface are ours or our licensors’. These Terms grant you no rights in them beyond using the service as intended.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service, the staging process, any virus scanning, or any third-party provider will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, revenue, or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your files, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or our policies, for legal reasons, or to protect the service and its users. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be signposted. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in our corporate details, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.
